Full Hydraulic Cable Drum Trailer 20 Ton – is designed to get the job done where strength and stability are required. It wheels easily on top of large cable drums and over rough ground. This drum carrier trailer is suitable for drums up to 20,000 kg, it is perfect reel powered by diesel which can meet the demands of long-distance pulling during underground cable laying. The drum zone provides a 2500mm clear loading width, therefore even wide coils can be accommodated without stress. The lifting arms are operated by a full hydraulic system providing smooth forward and back motion when raising or lowering the drum. This allows the operator to keep a better grip and less likely to slip off.

A single Diesel Antor (LD510) engine provides the system with consistent torque at reduced fuel consumption. It maintains good hydraulic pump operation even under load. The air brake increases safety and security during transport when towing on gradients or rough terrain. Even with a total of 23,500 kg on the trailers are tight on the road.

There is also a sturdy steel chassis. It can take on the burden without bending or vibrating. The trailer”s 4000 mm overall width and wide frame support offer excellent stability during towing or when the drum is hoisted. The lift overs tilt point of 2500 mm, creates a low centre of gravity that provides stability to the trailer while it’s being lifted.

For greater ground control, the trailer has four heavy-duty 1100 x 22.5 tires mounted on it. These tires take the weight off and distribute it, enabling you to safely drive on dirt, gravel or rough infield roads. Diameter of the drum shaft:125mm-the big diameter hold the big drum, not easily droop as normal small shaft.

With cable laying, the speed of releasing the cable is 20 m/min. This keeps the work clean, and avoids unnecessary pressure on the line. The hydraulic control unit is reactive, so even minor adjustments of the speed are reachable in no time by the operator. This minimizes damage to the cables, while keeping the workplace tidy.
